Hi Everyone,
I hope everyone is keeping safe during the current restrictions. Grassroots football remains suspended for the foreseeable future however it is important to keep active and support the development of our football skills and minds. We encourage everyone to think about how the players can work on ball skill, balance, fitness etc to help keep everyone's spirits high and keep football alive.
We would love to see some activity videos shared on our Facebook page, showing how the children are continuing to adapt and enjoy football however they can, so we can show our appreciation to them.
We know it is an extremely difficult time for everyone and especially so when we are not able to meet up and share in our love for football. We continue to work with South Moorlands Leisure Centre to ensure we are ready to start our football journey once again, as soon as we are allowed to do so.
In the meantime, ensure you all follow the government guidelines, stay safe and healthy with the knowledge that we will be back playing football as a club very soon.
If anyone would like to speak to our Welfare Officers during this difficult time we are here to support as much as we can.
All the best
Ian Morton
CSMU Chairman ...
We are sure you have all seen the UK Government’s announcement on Monday 4 January with regards to the new national COVID-19 restrictions and lockdown.
As a result, the impact on CSMUFC and ‘non-elite’ football in England will include the suspension of fixtures and training with immediate effect. This includes all teams, the coaching academy and the Wildcats sessions.
In line with the guidance we ask all teams, coaches, club members, player, parents and carers connected to CSMUFC to adhere to the Government’s new national COVID-19 lockdown restrictions.
We would like to thank everyone involved in the CSMUFC football community for their hard work, resilience and understanding during such an incredibly challenging period.
Stay safe and we look forward to seeing you all again in safer times. ...
