With almost three million active female players, football is the biggest women’s team sport in England – but there is plenty of room for more people to get involved.

There are many ways for girls to join in football at Cheadle SMU, no matter what your age or ability level, and we want to offer all girls a chance to try football and provide regular opportunities to train and play in a team.

CSMUFC offer a girls football centre for ages 5 upwards. Following the successful implementation of the Wildcats program, supported by the FA, the 2020 – 21 season would have been our fist season offering girls teams. Unfortunately, due to COVID we were unable to do this but due to the dedication of our volunteers and players we are ready to start in the 2021 – 22 season with even more enthusiasm.

We are currently running a U9 team and a U13 team in the SGLFL 2022/23 season with all training and games run by our FA accredited coaches.

Session take place on a Monday 6:30 – 7:30pm at South Moorlands Leisure Centre on the FA approved 3G playing surface. We focus on development of the girls football ability but most important is the girls make friends, have fun and be active through football.

If you are interested in joining our sessions or looking to get involved please contact the club through our contact page or through our Facebook page.
